Will a move-out cleaning help me get my security deposit back?
It's the single most effective thing you can do. NYC landlords and management companies routinely deduct from security deposits for cleaning costs — often $500-$1,500 or more. Our move-out cleaning covers every area landlords typically inspect: inside appliances, cabinet and closet interiors, bathroom grout, baseboards, and wall scuffs. We provide a completion checklist you can share with your landlord as documentation. Interior windows are an add-on you can pick at booking if your walkthrough covers the glass.
Should I book a move-in cleaning for my new apartment?
We strongly recommend it. Even if the previous tenant's landlord claims the apartment was cleaned, the standard varies wildly. We regularly find residue inside cabinets, grease in ovens, hair in drains, and dust in closets that a cursory clean missed. Starting fresh in a properly deep-cleaned apartment means you're not living with someone else's grime.
When should I schedule my move-out cleaning?
Schedule your move-out clean after all furniture and belongings have been removed, but before your lease end date and key handoff. Most clients book us for the day after their movers finish, giving us full access to every surface. Book at least a week in advance — move-out cleans fill up fast, especially around the first and last of each month.

What if some furniture is still there?
A move clean is built for an empty or nearly empty home, since it covers the inside of every cabinet, drawer and closet. If you're still mostly furnished, book a Deep Clean instead. Either way, our team can't move heavy furniture or large appliances, so if you want behind them cleaned, move them before we arrive.
